Students can’t resist multitasking, and it’s impairing their memory.
This article is about the ability of young adults to do work on a computer. It describes these peoples ability to multitask on and off the computer. A study shows that only about 8 minutes out of a quarter of an hour where spent doing the assigned work. some research shows that when people are distracted their minds process and store information in a much less useful way. In the final study students were asked to use Facebook during a 15 minute period of time they had a lower grade point average than the students who did not go on those sights.
